Laid scrim looks like a grid where the yarns are laid rectangular and it is made from continuous filament (glass fiber or polyester). The structure of scrim is chemically bonded yarns instead of mechanically weaving them.
In this process, laid scrim has 20-40% reduction in thickness along with better structure stability comparing to woven products.
The final laminated product has smoother and more even surface along with better stability during the production process due to less thickness and knitting dots in the laid scrim comparing to other scrim in the market.
